The official letter that Sudani sent to the Ministry of Oil was published by Iraq's leading news agency INA. The ministry emphasized that domestic needs are being met thanks to the increase in local production capacity.

Export Goals

Prime Minister Sudani also instructed that the surplus of produced petroleum products be directed towards exports. This step stands out as an important part of Iraq's goal to reduce its dependence on foreign energy.
