İhlas Holding is signing a contract for its energy investment in Kyrgyzstan, going beyond just an infrastructure project. The company aims to transform this investment into a valuable asset from which it can generate long-term foreign currency-based revenue.
Bantaş Bandırma Ambalaj shares, which reached 8.24 TL in August, have decreased to 6.32 TL in October. However, the stock, which has recently turned upward with purchases, has shown an increase of 1.03% in the last month and is currently trading at 6.86 TL. Since the beginning of the year, the stock has experienced a rise of 3.78%.
İhlas Holding's subsidiary Central Asia Investment Holding will sell the electricity generated by the hydroelectric power plants it will build in Kyrgyzstan under a 20-year contract with the National Electric Grid of Kyrgyzstan. This agreement is based on government-supported contracts that will provide investors with a secure income stream. At the beginning of the contract, temporary tariffs will be applied for pricing and will be updated annually by considering CPI and exchange rates.
Recently, the fluctuating trend of Bantaş shares has affected investor sentiment. The company's sales have contracted by 12%, while gross profit has decreased by 26%. Additionally, net profit has fallen by 36%. However, a decrease in financial expenses has provided a minor gain compared to the loss in net monetary position. This situation weakens investors' growth expectations. Positive developments that would restore investor confidence are needed for increased investor interest.
