HIVE Digital has reached a capacity of 23 EH/s in Bitcoin mining.

HIVE Digital Technologies has increased its Bitcoin mining capacity to 23 EH/s, showing a growth of %283 this year. The company has decided to convert some of its mining capacity into artificial intelligence (AI) focused data centers.

As part of this transformation, a facility that can support 25,000 graphics processing units (GPUs) is being established in Grand Falls, New Brunswick. HIVE aims to accelerate its transition to AI infrastructure with this step.

Additionally, the company plans to gain cost and speed advantages in the AI market by utilizing its facilities powered by renewable energy. It is expected that the company will reach 36,000 GPUs by the end of 2026.
