The Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Trade has imposed a total administrative fine of 173.3 million lira on 1423 real estate businesses due to unjustified price increases in property advertisements. This measure aims to prevent irregularities in the real estate sector.
This implementation encourages the reduction of unlicensed and unregistered real estate activities. Thanks to the Real Estate Monitoring and Supervision System (EİDS), the number of licensed real estate businesses has increased by %26 to reach 88,572.
The ministry uses various methods such as public service announcements, promotional materials, informational meetings, and press releases to increase the awareness of EİDS among both the sector and citizens.
