Unlawful Price Increase Fined 173.3 Million Lira

Severe Penalty for Real Estate Listings

The Republic of Turkey's Ministry of Trade has imposed a total administrative fine of 173.3 million lira on 1423 real estate enterprises that caused unfair price increases in real estate listings. This measure aims to prevent irregularities in the real estate sector.

Increase in the Number of Authorized Certificates

With this implementation, activities of unregistered and unauthorized real estate agents are being encouraged to decrease. Thanks to the Real Estate Monitoring and Supervision System (EİDS), the number of authorized real estate enterprises has increased by %26, reaching 88,572.

Strategies for Increasing Awareness

The Ministry is using various methods such as public service announcements, informative documents, informational meetings, and press releases to increase the awareness of EİDS among both the sector and citizens.
