Real estate expert Grant Cardone evaluated the recent Bitcoin decline, making a significant contribution to his company's balance sheet. In a statement on October 10, Cardone announced that CardoneCapital had added approximately 300 Bitcoin. On that day, due to tariff panic, Bitcoin dropped from $122,500 to $102,000.
The purchase was concluded with a limit order set at $108,000; Cardone shared a receipt regarding this transaction on October 16. The receipt showed that a total purchase of 261 Bitcoin amounted to $28.2 million.
It is also reported that Cardone acquired another 200 Bitcoin on the same day, worth a total of $22 million. Thus, the total acquisition for the week reached 461 Bitcoin with a value of around $50 million.
The acquisitions were made to strengthen CardoneCapital's hybrid fund series, which aims to combine 15,000 residential units with 10,000 Bitcoin. The latest fund, 10x Boca Raton Bitcoin Fund, brings together 366 multifamily properties with $100 million worth of Bitcoin.
This strategy aims to allow investors to benefit from the stability and cash flow of real estate while also capitalizing on the volatility and upside potential of Bitcoin. The rental income generated from real estate is used to add Bitcoin to the fund. Investors are expecting an increase in both the property and Bitcoin values.
Cardone states that they are beginning to see the effects of the hybrid funds. He emphasized that they have added Bitcoin to five properties, and these properties have surpassed the other 40 properties he owns. His belief in Bitcoin has also increased over the past year. In December, he referred to himself as a "Bitcoin enthusiast," praising the scarcity of this asset.
According to Cardone, Bitcoin is a superior asset compared to gold, and he warns Bitcoin investors who are converting their digital assets into metal: "With every Bitcoin you sell, you're costing yourself a million dollars," he said. "I don't understand why one would part with this asset."
