Galaxy Research, the research arm of Galaxy Digital (GLXY), highlighted the difficulty of predicting Bitcoin for the year 2026. The company notes that we are experiencing a period where macroeconomic and market risks are intertwined.

Analysts indicate that options pricing and volatility trends demonstrate that Bitcoin has become more of a macro-like asset. This suggests that Bitcoin is moving away from being a tradeable asset with high growth potential and is instead evolving into a commodity connected to broader economic movements.

However, Galaxy Digital maintains a long-term optimistic outlook. The company predicts that by the end of 2027, Bitcoin could reach the $250,000 level.
