Ethereum Fusaka Update: Long-Term Strategy is Changing

A report released by Fidelity Digital Assets highlights that Fusaka will more clearly frame Ethereum's long-term strategy. Fidelity analyst Max Wadington stated that Fusaka should be seen as a stage where Ethereum's governance understanding has matured. While the update takes the name Fusaka, it aims to implement two significant changes simultaneously: Fulu and Osaka, which are both part of the consensus and execution layers. According to the report, the natural incentive alignment among developers, users, and investors has become an important factor, even though value accumulation is no longer an official goal.

Fusaka can help steer Ethereum's economic activity more efficiently by focusing on strategic objectives such as scalability and usability. In addition, the directional shift signals observed in Fidelity’s layer 2 ecosystem raise the possibility of a stronger revenue potential for Ethereum in the future.
