Crypto.com has officially submitted an application for a national trust bank charter to the Office of the Comptroller of the Currency (OCC) in the United States. This move is seen as a step within the company's strategy to expand its ownership and related trust services.

In a statement regarding the application, it was noted that this action will not affect the operations of the Crypto.com Custody Trust Company, which is registered in New Hampshire as a quality property manager. In other words, the reliability and operation of the existing structure will continue.
