During this process, all transaction and transfer services will be temporarily suspended.

The start time of the upgrade has been set for 5:00 PM, and the maintenance period is expected to last approximately 4 hours. Transactions and transfers on Coinbase.com (Simple and Advanced Trade), Coinbase Exchange, and Coinbase Prime will be suspended during the maintenance period. This upgrade, which will implement innovative systems, will be carried out in two phases. In the first phase, technical systems will be updated, and in the second phase, the exchange will be reactivated, with transactions starting gradually.

According to the announcements, users will not be able to access their accounts, place new orders, or may experience delays in their transfers during this period. Coinbase recommends that users complete all transfer and order transactions before the planned outage to avoid any inconvenience. It is important to note that during the transition to maintenance mode, order cancellations will only be possible for stop loss and take profit orders.

After the second phase is completed, the system will enter a price discovery (auction mode) process, gradually regaining control over trading transactions. Coinbase emphasizes that the maintenance may take longer than anticipated and invites all users to follow developments.
