Coinbase Expects a 60% Price Increase for Bitcoin

Recently, fluctuations in the crypto markets have attracted significant attention from investors. A new report published by Coinbase Institutional emphasizes that the leverage ratios in the market have returned to healthy levels, especially following the liquidation wave on October 10. This situation is interpreted by some analysts as a formation of a short-term bottom.

The report views the decline not as a collapse, but as a recalibration process. David Duong from Coinbase's global research team notes that retail investors have faced sharp declines in the altcoin market during this process, while whales and institutional investors have largely escaped its effects. Duong highlights that the current structural cleaning may support a gradual recovery process over the next few months.

One of the most striking findings in the Coinbase report is that the potential price range for Bitcoin over the next 3 to 6 months is set between $90,000 – $160,000. This indicates that the market still maintains upward expectations. Additionally, the increasing “smart money” inflow towards Ethereum (ETH) and the Arbitrum (ARB) ecosystems, along with the capital outflows from Solana (SOL) and BNB Chain (BSC), are noteworthy.

Analyses show that institutional investors have recently directed their attention towards yield-producing protocols and real-world assets (RWA). Recent developments regarding BlackRock's total investment of $1.5 billion in these areas in October indicate a growing institutional interest. Coinbase emphasizes that such investments can provide stability during volatile periods.

Furthermore, the report states that the Federal Reserve's (Fed) interest rate cuts, liquidity expansion, and new crypto regulations (such as the GENIUS Act and CLARITY Act) could help support a new bull market in the sector. All these dynamics signal that we are in a critical period for investors.
