Coinbase Returns to the Indian Market

Coinbase has returned to the market by restarting user registrations in India, after a two-year hiatus. During this period, the platform's operations had been halted due to regulatory issues.

Currently, Coinbase only allows cryptocurrency trading for cryptocurrency. However, it plans to reintroduce fiat on-ramp services by next year. With this move, it will be easier for users to purchase digital assets with currency.

Despite regulatory challenges, Coinbase continues to invest in India. In this context, it aims to increase its stake in the local exchange CoinDCX to demonstrate more activity.
