Coinbase to Suspend Peso Transactions in Argentina

Coinbase has decided to halt operations with the local currency in Argentina starting from January 31, 2026. After this date, users will not be able to make peso withdrawals from local banks.

The company emphasized that this step is a planned temporary pause and not a complete exit. Coinbase intends to reassess the current situation and plans to return with a stronger product.

Additionally, cryptocurrency transactions on the exchange will not be affected. Cryptocurrency withdrawals will also continue.
