The Coca-Cola Company announced on Tuesday that its third-quarter revenue increased by 6% largely due to rising prices. The company reported an organic revenue of $12.41 billion for the July-September period. This figure was in line with the expectations set by analysts on Wall Street through a survey by FactSet.
Coca-Cola stated that its unit case volume increased by 1% globally. While the case volume remained stable in North America and Latin America, there was a 1% decline in Asia. However, the company's case volume rose by 4% in the Europe, Middle East, and Africa region. It emphasized that it raised prices by 6% during this quarter.
Additionally, the company's net income increased by 30%, reaching $3.69 billion. Adjusted for one-time items, Coca-Cola earned 82 cents per share. This value exceeded the analysts' estimate of 78 cents.
