BIST 100 Index Closes the Week with an Increase

The BIST 100 index saw a lowest level of 10,585.34 points and a highest level of 11,038.75 points during this week. It closed the week at 10,922.86 points, an increase of 3.38% compared to the previous closing.

Gold and Currency Market

Gram gold rose to 5,568 Turkish Lira with an increase of 0.89%, while the selling price of the Republic gold increased to 37,558 Turkish Lira. In the currency market, the dollar increased by 0.26% to 42.44 Turkish Lira, while the euro decreased by 0.74% to 48.94 Turkish Lira.

Performance of Investment Funds and Pension Funds

Investment funds closed the week with a 0.47% increase in value, while pension funds recorded an increase of 1.11%. In this context, the type of fund that provided the highest return among investment funds was 2.07% in equity funds.
