Bridge, as the first artificial intelligence-focused operating system for private markets, has announced the completion of its seed funding round worth $5.1 million. This investment was led by Thicket Ventures and will allow the company to expand its team and accelerate product launches.

New York, October 23, 2025 – Bridge, designed for private market buyers as the first AI-based operating system, aims to expand its team structure and accelerate product launches to meet market demand. The company continues its mission to consolidate a highly integrated workflow necessary for managing, evaluating, and accessing alternative investments on a single platform.

Founded by Alex Goodwin (former Leonard Green & Partners) and Ayo Ekhator (former Blackstone Group), Bridge serves the most sophisticated investors in private markets with a team of engineers from companies such as Microsoft, Uber, and Plaid. These investors include large-scale wealth management firms, independent investment advisory firms, family offices, and institutional investors.

Goodwin, as CEO of Bridge, stated, "Artificial intelligence allows us to reimagine the infrastructure on which alternative investments are operated. We are experiencing a significant turning point at the intersection of private markets and technology - as demand for this asset class grows, the commercial applications of AI are setting new standards for the analysis and reporting of these investments." He added, "Bridge stands out as the preferred platform to seize this category-defining opportunity."

Participants in the funding round alongside Thicket include industry leaders such as Bill Lewis (former Lazard, former Morgan Stanley), Bob White (Bain Capital), Nate Sleeper (CD&R), Dani Fava (Carson Group), Ed Swenson (Dynasty), Molly Bennard (former Focus Financial), Peter Lee (Summit Trail Advisors), Chris Piazza (KKR, former iCapital), and David Hauser (Vanilla).

With this investment, Justin Wisz, founder and general partner of Thicket Ventures, will also join the Board of Directors of Bridge.

Wisz stated, "Bridge addresses the most challenging problems faced by buyers in private markets with an extremely integrated solution by centering artificial intelligence. We see Bridge as a leader in two major trends in the financial world: the modernization of technology in wealth management and the proliferation of alternative investment."

Ekhator, as COO of Bridge, remarked, "When evaluating who to partner with, we focused on bringing investors to the table who could add tangible value with operational experience and industry relationships. Justin and Thicket's network of strategic limited partners stood out during our investment process." He added, "We are very excited to work together."
