Former U.S. Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) commissioner Brian Quintenz has joined the SUI Group board as an independent director.

Quintenz previously served as the global policy lead for a16z crypto and is also a board member of Kalshi.

This development is seen as a step towards enhancing the digital asset treasury strategy revolving around the SUI token for the company traded on Nasdaq.
