The French banking group BPCE will begin offering crypto trading services to 2 million retail customers through its Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Épargne applications. The goal is to reach 12 million customers by 2026.
This service will allow customers to buy and sell Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Solana (SOL), and USD Coin (USDC). Transactions will be carried out through a separate digital asset account managed by Hexarq. The monthly fee is set at €2.99 and the transaction commission is %1.5.
This move emerges in parallel with other European banks such as BBVA, Santander, and Raiffeisen Bank also starting to offer crypto trading services.
