The BIST 100 index on Borsa Istanbul completed the week with a %2.62 decline at 10,858.52 points. During the week, the lowest level reached was 10,858.52 points, while the highest level was 11,259.32 points.
During the same period, Borsa Istanbul's industrial index decreased by %4.07 to 14,085.7 points, the financial index fell %3.09 to 14,352 points, the technology index declined by %2.68 to 28,313.10 points, and the services index contracted by %0.08 to 10,896.92 points.
Among the stocks included in the BIST 100 index, the highest gaining stock was Gen Pharmaceuticals and Health Products Industry and Trade Inc. with %12.24. This was followed by Eczacıbaşı Pharmaceuticals, Industrial and Financial Investments with an increase of %11.12 and CW Energy with %11.08.
On the other hand, the stocks that lost the most value included Destek Finans Faktoring Inc. with %31.11, Enerya Energy with %15.63, and Sasa Polyester with %15.23.
The most valuable companies listed on Borsa Istanbul are led by ASELSAN (985 billion 416 million lira), followed by Garanti BBVA (569 billion 940 million lira), and Turkish Airlines (422 billion 180 million lira).
This week, the price of 24 karat gold increased by %4.45 to 5,203.7 lira, while the Republic gold rose %3.43 to 35,115 lira.
The increases in currency rates last week were as follows: dollar rose %0.28 to 41.6880 lira, euro increased %0.78 to 49.0020 lira. The selling price of the British pound increased by %0.9 to 56.2040 lira, and the Swiss franc rose %0.58 to 52.4210 lira.
