BIST 100 Index Status at the End of 2025

The BIST 100 index, traded on Borsa İstanbul, completed the last trading day of 2025, which was a Wednesday session, with a gain of %0.37, reaching 11,261.52 points. The index increased by %3.33 on a monthly basis, providing a yearly return of %14.56 since the beginning of the year. Meanwhile, the BIST 500 index saw a limited rise of %0.01 to 14,029.89 points; it increased by %4.00 on a monthly basis and had a total value gain of %23.15 in 2025.

The Banking index saw a rise of %1.18, reaching 16,540.04 points, achieving a positive differentiation within current market conditions. Its monthly return was %4.33, and its performance in 2025 was calculated at %13.64. The Industrial index closed at 14,013.12 points with a %0.22 increase; its monthly rise was %3.49, and it gained %7.35 since the beginning of the year.
