Bitcoin (BTC) price has surpassed the $126,000 level, setting a new record, creating intense interest among investors regarding the future of the price. With a strong start to the traditional bull season of October, many investors are experiencing a "fear of missing out" (FOMO). However, analysts emphasize the importance of taking positions with more risk-controlled strategies rather than making sudden entries.

Markus Thielen, founder of 10x Research, suggests "call spread" and "out-of-the-money (OTM) call" purchases that allow investors to enter the market without paying too much premium for high volatility. According to Thielen, a call spread position with a maturity of 1-2 months in the $130,000/$145,000 range gives investors the opportunity to benefit from upward potential while limiting risks. With this strategy, the investor buys a call option at a lower price while selling another option at a higher price, which helps reduce costs and is effective in limiting potential losses while keeping gains at reasonable levels.

Lin Chen, manager at Deribit, notes that particularly long-term (September 2026) and short-term monthly call spread transactions have increased in Asian markets. On the other hand, Greg Magadini, director of derivatives at Amberdata, highlights that selling OTM put options at low levels to open many call spread positions could be beneficial. This method not only reduces the initial cost but also offers higher return potential from upward movements. However, Magadini also reminds that this strategy bears significant loss risks in case of sharp declines in Bitcoin.

In the long term, according to analysts' views, the "buy and hold" strategy still stands out as one of the most profitable methods. The increase of Bitcoin from $1 in 2011 to today's value of over $120,000 serves as a concrete example of this approach.
