As we enter the last trading day of the week, prominent company news on Borsa Istanbul is in the focus of investors. There is a busy agenda filled with capital raisings, debt issuances, company mergers and important football transfers. Here are all the highlights from the morning of August 1, 2025:

Credit Grade Increases

• AKBNK, TSKB, VAKBN, YKBNK — Moody's has upgraded the banks' credit rating from B1 to BA3. This step indicates an improvement in the perception of risk in the Turkish banking sector.
• QNB Finansbank — The bank's credit rating has been increased by one notch.

Mergers and Strategic Decisions

• AKFGY — The application to acquire Fıratcan Construction, in which it has a 100% share, was approved by SPK in a simplified manner.
• ESCAR — The merger between Mint Electric Vehicle and Teknovus Charging Technologies was welcomed by SPK.
• MMCAS — The merger application for the takeover of Digital Agenda Media was met negatively by SPK.
• TUMMY — The name of the newly established company was changed to Ensoft Technology Development.
• METUR — The company name is changing to Blume Metal Kimya, the application was welcomed by SPK.

Borrowing and Financing Operations

• BRISA — The issuance of borrowing instruments up to 5 billion TL has been approved by the SPK.
• CCOLA — The issuance of borrowing instruments up to 10 billion TL abroad has been approved by the SPK.
• SKTAS — The issuance of 2 billion TL borrowing instruments has been approved.
• ISCTR — Issuance of bonds of TL 1,8 billion with a maturity of 91 days was made.

Featured Company Transactions and Contracts

• AYEN — Yamula Dam hydroelectric power plant was transferred to EÜAS after the concession period expired.
• FIRECRACKERS — Won the delayed receivables tender with a collection of 421.7 million TL.
• GSDHO — Won the TL 841 million receivable tender.
• FRIGO — The bulk of the funds to be obtained after the capital increase will be used for contract agricultural investments.
• FORTE — Received $1.1 million in new work.
• ODYNE — Participated in the Nokia Partner Program.
• ONRYT — Proposal for HSTA systems was accepted by MSB.
• TATGD — A $3.8 million agreement was signed with Solares Renewable Energy for the Opium GES investment.
• TUPRS — The corporate management rating contract with Saha Institutional has been renewed.
• TUKAS — Incentive application for GE investment in Niğde was submitted.
• IDGYO — Definitive acceptance of parking and infrastructure works in Idealist Cadde/Idealist Poru projects has been approved.
• KZBGY — Expression of project parcels in Muğla Marmaris has been completed.

Football Transfers and Sponsorships

• BJKAS — Gedson Fernandes was sold to Spartak Moscow for €20.8 million + €7.3 million in bonuses.
• LANTERN Milan Skriniar transferred for 4 years; total guarantee fee €32 million.
• GSRAY — Victor Osimhen transferred for 4 years for a fee of €75 million; the footballer will receive a guarantee fee of €64 million.
• TSPOR — John Lundstam has been hired to Hull City.
• HRKET — Signed a 1-year sponsorship deal with Al Dhafra FC.

Real Estate Sales and Projects

• HURGZ — Real estate in Izmir was sold for 130 million TL, real estate in Ankara for 850 million TL; in total, 232 million TL losses were written off.
• EKGYO — In Muğla Koyceğiz, 600,448 m² of land was included in the portfolio for 11.4 billion TL; 4 billion TL was financed with a long-term loan.
• DMLKT — Requests for real estate certificates for Başakşehir Damla Kent project will be collected on August 4-8.
• KAYSE — The decision “EIA is not required” was made for the project of Limestone Quarry and Crushing Screening Plant.

Capital Raising and Free Shares

• AGHOL — 243,5 million TL capital increased 900% to 2,4 billion TL.
• FZLGY — Capital increased by TL 318 million to TL 1.2 billion, an increase of 293.1% at no cost.
• ISKPL — The capital was TL 212.9 million, with an increase of 604.5% at no cost, TL 1.5 billion.
• KFEIN — 19.7 million TL of capital increased by 1,000% to 197.5 million TL at no cost.
• PAPIL — The registered capital ceiling was raised from 150 million TL to 1 billion TL.
• PEHOL — After the capital increase, 620 million TL of the fund will be used for debt repayment, 321 million TL in investments and 50 million TL in working capital. Company shares now TEHOL will be processed by code.

Share Trading

• AKFGY — 350,000 shares were recovered from 2.92-2.93 TL.
• AHSGY — After the sale of 1,595,000 units, the share ratio decreased to 9.19%.
• AHGAZ — 100,000 shares were recovered from 29.56-29.62 TL.
• AKFYE — 87,928 shares were recovered from 18.09-18.10 TL.
• CEMZY — 907,238 shares were recovered from 14,96-15,30 TL.
• ENERY — 50,000 shares were recovered from 8.60 TL.
• HUNS — 500,000 shares were recovered from 4.47 TL.
• LKMNH — 60,000 shares were recovered from 17.35-17.44 TL.
• MAQIM — After the sale of 67,847 units, the share ratio decreased to 4.97%.
• OPHSYM — 10,879 shares were recovered from 55.20-55.39 TL.
• PSGYO — After the sale of 283,199,980 units, the share ratio decreased to 0.03%.
• PCILT — 80,000 shares were recovered from 17.07 TL.
