


The BIST 100 index closed the week at 11,007.37 points, higher than the previous week, after seeing a low of 10,870.07 points and a high of 11,201.69 points. The index recorded a value gain of 1 percent, creating a positive atmosphere among investors.
Gold continues to be a safe haven for investors. The gram sale price of 24-carat gold in the Grand Bazaar increased by 1.21 percent this week, rising to 5,788 liras. Additionally, the sale price of republic gold also increased by 1.20 percent, reaching 39,030 liras. The price of quarter gold, which was 9,579 liras last weekend, climbed 1.21 percent to 9,695 liras.
As of this week, the USD increased by 0.07 percent, reaching 42.5150 liras, while the Euro gained 0.71 percent, rising to 49.5840 liras. Investment funds attracted attention with a 1.21 percent value increase during the week, while pension funds showed a 0.86 percent increase. The products that generated the most profit among investors were 'fund basket' funds, which increased by 1.77 percent.
These upward movements in the markets create an optimistic picture for investors for the upcoming period. Currently, it seems that fluctuations in foreign exchange rates and gold prices will continue to be closely monitored.
