


The BIST 100 index closed the week at 10,924.53, which is 0.43% lower than its previous closing, after seeing a low of 10,848.97 points and a high of 11,152.28 points during the week. This development is interpreted as a sign that the index, which has been experiencing a fluctuating trend, is going through a challenging period among investors.
The gram sale price of 24-carat gold traded in the Grand Bazaar decreased by 0.08% to 5,427 lira this week, while the sale price of the republic gold also dropped by 0.08% to 36,612 lira. The quarter gold decreased to 9,091 lira from 9,098, marking a 0.08% decline.
The US dollar increased by 0.39% to reach 42.2140 lira on a weekly basis, while the euro rose by 0.73% to 48.9150 lira. These increases are important for the stabilization of currency rates.
Investment funds gained 0.79% in value this week, while retirement funds showed an increase of 0.87%. When examined by categories, the best-performing among investment funds were equity funds, which provided a weekly gain of 2.25%. This situation indicates that investors' general confidence in stock investments is on the rise.
