Binance is Delisting Three Altcoins: Price Volatility

The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has announced an important decision regarding Onyxcoin (XCN), Flamingo (FLM), and Perpetual Protocol (PERP). On November 21, 2025, the perpetual futures contracts of these three altcoins against Tether (USDT) will be removed from the platform. According to the official statement made by Binance during the day, all open positions will be automatically closed on the specified date, and transactions will be completely terminated.

The statement emphasized that users should close their positions by 12:00 PM TR on the specified date to avoid potential risks. Additionally, the option to open new positions for the XCN/USDT, FLM/USDT, and PERP/USDT contracts will be completely disabled starting from 11:30 AM TR. Binance reminded users to carefully monitor their open positions and to consider the risks of high volatility and low liquidity during this process.

Binance emphasized that the Futures Insurance Fund will not be used in the last hour before the closure, stating that liquidations occurring during this process will be reflected in the market through a one-time “Immediate or Cancel Order (IOCO)”. If this process does not sufficiently reduce the positions, the remaining portions will be closed through the Auto Deleveraging (ADL) process. Additionally, the exchange indicated that it may take additional security measures against extremely volatile market conditions. These measures may include changing the maximum leverage ratio, updating maintenance margins, and implementing protection mechanisms in the mark price calculation.

According to CoinGecko data, despite negative news flow and a significant decline in the cryptocurrency market, an upward movement has been observed in the prices of XCN, FLM, and PERP. The price of Flamingo increased by approximately 40%, while Perpetual Protocol rose by 20%, and Onyxcoin decreased, showing a 14% loss. This situation presents an important outlook for investors and reveals market dynamics that should be closely monitored.
