Binance will list a new altcoin with an airdrop.

The world's largest cryptocurrency exchange, Binance, has announced its HODLer Airdrop program with the introduction of its fifty-third altcoin aimed at rewarding users. This new airdrop, which is a significant source of excitement for users, will take place between October 9, 2025, 03:00 UTC and October 12, 2025, 02:59 UTC, covering users who deposit BNB into Simple Earn and On-Chain Yields products. Airdrop rewards will be distributed in the form of a new asset called Yield Basis (YB) token.

The distribution of tokens to airdrop winners will commence at October 15, 2025, 14:00 UTC. Winners will receive their YB tokens in their spot wallets at least one hour before the trading opening time. According to Binance's announcement, a total of 10,000,000 YB tokens will be distributed in this airdrop. The total supply of the Yield Basis token has been set at 700,000,000 YB, while the maximum supply will be 1,000,000,000 YB. Starting from October 15, 2025, the exchange will begin trading pairs YB/USDT, YB/USDC, YB/BNB, YB/FDUSD, and YB/TRY.

The circulating supply of the YB token at the time of listing will be 87,916,667 tokens, which corresponds to approximately 12.56% of the total supply. Yield Basis (YB) is introduced as a decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol that operates with leverage aimed at offering yield to liquidity providers while reducing temporary loss. It has been stated that a research report containing more detailed information about this new token will be published within 48 hours of the announcement.

Binance's HODLer Airdrop program allows users to earn retroactive rewards based on their past BNB balances. Users can benefit from these rewards without making any additional transactions with their BNB deposited into Simple Earn or On-Chain Yields products.
