According to the information he shared on social media, expectations for inflation 12 months ahead have decreased by 12.2 points for households and 12.8 points for the real sector over the past year, attracting attention.
Şimşek stated in his announcement that "the improving trend in expectations and the decline in service inflation will continue to support the disinflation process." He added that reducing supply-side risks and increasing competitive power will also contribute to the goal of ensuring price stability.
