Minister Bolat: Export Expectations Are Increasing, We Are Strengthening in Production

The Minister of Trade, Ömer Bolat, shared important data regarding the last quarter of the year through a statement on social media. Among these data, the Foreign Trade Expectation Survey presents an encouraging image regarding Turkey's export expectations.

Minister Bolat announced that the export expectation index mentioned in the survey reached a level of 105.3. This figure emphasizes that optimistic expectations for the upcoming period have increased. Despite global economic challenges, exporters are showing great motivation to increase their production capacities.

Recently, an increase in Turkey's production capacity has also been observed. The country stands out with its investments in industry and technology, despite the competitive global conditions. Minister Bolat evaluated this situation, stating that Turkish producers have become more competitive thanks to their increasing capabilities and adaptability.

Especially the efforts of exporting firms to discover new markets strengthen Turkey's position in the global market. Producers are also noted for their steps towards sustainability and innovation. Successes in both traditional and new sectors are enhancing Turkey's weight in global trade.

The Minister of Trade indicated that, in addition to the increase in production capacity, Turkey's trade strategy would be comprehensively reviewed. With the implementation of new policy proposals and support mechanisms, it is expected that the barriers in front of exporters will further decrease. Thus, the aim is for Turkish products to find a broader place in international markets.
