With recent data, 81 provinces and 950 residential areas across the country have begun to receive natural gas services, and the total number of 22 million subscribers has been reached.
Minister Bayraktar emphasized in his statement that this significant achievement contributes to Turkey's energy security. With the increased accessibility of natural gas, households, as well as industrial enterprises, will be able to utilize this source to make their production processes more efficient.
The widespread availability of natural gas in residential areas across the country provides significant support for efforts to reduce energy dependence. Minister Bayraktar highlighted the importance of supporting sustainable energy policies with such successful projects. Additionally, he expressed that these investments also support the goal of pursuing an environmentally friendly energy policy.
The expansion of the natural gas transportation network is expected to enhance citizens' living standards while also creating a long-term positive impact on energy costs. Alongside 22 million subscribers, the increasing number of new subscribers year by year accelerates the development process of Turkey's energy infrastructure.
