


Baidu, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIDU and HKEX: 9888), a leading company in the field of artificial intelligence (AI), announced an unprecedented milestone. At the Baidu World 2025 event held on November 13, 2025, it introduced the latest ERNIE 5.0 model. This natively omni-modal architecture offers multi-modal understanding and generation capabilities by processing text, images, audio, and videos in an integrated manner.
At the event, Baidu announced updates to products such as digital human technology, no-code application creator Miaoda, and the general AI tool GenFlow. Additionally, it introduced new products like the self-evolving agent Famou and the all-in-one AI workspace Oreate. These products will be launched in global markets along with specialized offerings like MeDo.
Baidu’s autonomous ride-hailing service Apollo Go boasts being the largest autonomous service globally with 17 million rides. Weekly ride numbers exceed 250,000, providing fully driverless transportation. Apollo Go operates in 22 cities in international markets.
CEO Robin Li emphasized the importance of integrating AI into modern workflows at the event. Li stated that AI should be integrated into every task, which he expressed would serve as a productivity booster.
Baidu has upgraded the GenFlow tool, reaching over 20 million users and becoming the world’s largest general-purpose AI agent. GenFlow 3.0 offers advanced multi-modality and memory capabilities.
During the event, the international version of the no-code application creation program called MeDo was introduced. This new version is now available for developers worldwide. Furthermore, digital human technology has been launched in global markets, including Brazil.
Famou, on the other hand, is the world’s first commercially available self-evolving agent that can swiftly abstract complex problems and automatically iterate.
