Baidu is globalizing AI projects with ERNIE 5.0!

Baidu, Inc. (NASDAQ: BIDU and HKEX: 9888), as a leader in artificial intelligence (AI), has announced an unprecedented milestone. At the Baidu World 2025 event held on November 13, 2025, it introduced the latest ERNIE 5.0 model. This natively omni-modal architecture integrates the processing of text, images, audio, and videos, providing multimodal understanding and production capabilities.

During the event, Baidu announced updates to products such as digital human technology, the no-code application creator Miaoda, and the general AI tool GenFlow. Additionally, new products like the self-evolving agent Famou and the all-in-one AI workspace Oreate were introduced. These products, along with special offerings like MeDo, will be launched in global markets.

Baidu's autonomous ride-hailing service Apollo Go holds the title of the largest autonomous service globally, with 17 million rides. The weekly ride count exceeds 250,000, providing completely driverless transportation. Apollo Go operates in 22 cities across international markets.

CEO Robin Li emphasized the importance of integrating AI into modern workflows during the event. He stated that integrating AI into every task would make it a productivity enhancer.

Baidu has updated the GenFlow tool, reaching over 20 million users, making it the world's largest general-purpose AI agent. GenFlow 3.0 offers advanced multimodality and memory capabilities.

At the event, the international version of the no-code application creator program called MeDo was introduced. This new version is now available for developers worldwide. Furthermore, digital human technology has been launched in global markets, including Brazil.

Famou is the world's first commercially available self-evolving agent that can quickly abstract complex problems and automatically iterate on them.
