


Bahadır Kimya factory's stocks have been temporarily suspended on the BIST following a fire incident. In a statement made by Borsa İstanbul, it was mentioned that the company's request is being evaluated.
Following the fire incident, Bahadır Kimya's stocks have experienced a decline of up to 10%. Investors have started to feel the impact of the fire.
Kırıkkale Governor Mehmet Makas announced that there have been no casualties in the fire incident and that all employees were successfully evacuated. Governor Makas noted that the fire occurred in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone of Yahşihan district in Kırıkkale.
Governor Makas stated that a rapid intervention to the factory fire was carried out and emphasized that firefighting and rescue teams from neighboring provinces are working to bring the situation under control. “The fight against the fire is ongoing. Our special teams and business people are providing support with their tankers,” he said.
The Governor stated that no information has been provided yet regarding the cause of the fire and that necessary investigations are underway, assuring that all precautions will be taken. In this industrial zone, which houses more than 66 factories, the aim is to bring the fire under control without spreading to other businesses.
