Bahadır Kimya factory's stocks have been temporarily suspended on the BIST due to a fire. In a statement made by Borsa İstanbul, it was noted that the company's request is being evaluated.

Following the fire incident, a decline of up to %10 in Bahadır Kimya's stocks has been observed. Investors have started to feel the impact of the fire.

Statement from Officials

Kırıkkale Governor Mehmet Makas announced that there have been no casualties in the fire incident and that all employees were successfully evacuated. Governor Makas stated that the fire occurred in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone in Yahşihan district of Kırıkkale.

Fire Under Control

Governor Makas expressed that a rapid intervention was made regarding the factory fire, emphasizing that fire and rescue teams from neighboring provinces are working to bring the situation under control. “The fight against the fire is ongoing. Our special teams and business people are providing support with their tankers,” he said.

Future Precautions

Governor Makas noted that no information has been provided yet regarding the cause of the fire, stating that necessary investigations are underway and all precautions will be taken. It is aimed to bring the fire under control without spreading to other businesses in this industrial zone, which has more than 66 factories.
