


Bahadır Kimya factory has temporarily suspended its shares traded on the BIST stock exchange due to the fire outbreak. The Istanbul Stock Exchange announced that the company's request is being evaluated.
Following the fire incident, a drop of up to %10 in Bahadır Kimya's shares has been observed. Investors are starting to feel the impact of the fire.
Kırıkkale Governor Mehmet Makas announced that there were no casualties in the fire incident and that all employees were successfully evacuated. Governor Makas stated that the fire occurred in the 1st Organized Industrial Zone of Kırıkkale's Yahşihan district.
The Governor emphasized that a rapid intervention was carried out for the factory fire, and firefighting and rescue teams from neighboring provinces are working to bring the situation under control. “Efforts to combat the fire are ongoing. Our special teams and businesspeople are providing support with their tankers,” he said.
The Governor stated that no information has been provided yet regarding the cause of the fire, and necessary investigations are being conducted while all precautions will be taken. In this industrial zone, which has more than 66 factories, the goal is to bring the fire under control without spreading to other businesses.
