This special celebration began with the traditional Seğmenler Parade, which took place with the participation of Seğmen associations. A large group set off from the historic Ankara Train Station and concluded in front of the Ulus Atatürk Monument, one of the symbols of the city. The parade gained great significance with the participation of association and foundation members, as well as a large number of Ankarans.
During the parade, the seğmen performed shows accompanied by their swords and danced the zeybek. This performance was enriched with folk dances unique to Ankara. The continuing displays by the seğmen in front of the Atatürk Monument in Ulus after the parade provided participants with a historical and cultural experience. Such celebrations aim not only to remember the past but also to pass on Atatürk's principles and reforms to the younger generations, shedding light on the country's future.
