Alibaba Group Holding Limited (NYSE:BABA) stands out among low volatility long-term stocks. Barclays analyst Jiong Shao updated the price target for BABA to $190 in his assessment on October 21, giving the stock an 'Overweight' rating.

This update came after Alibaba Group Holding Limited announced on October 17 that it, along with Ant Group Co., Ltd., would purchase several office floors in One Causeway Bay from Mandarin Oriental International Group for approximately HK$7.2 billion ($925 million). This transaction represents the largest office property acquisition in Hong Kong and is notable as the biggest deal recorded since 2021.

Management stated that this acquisition is a strategic investment made by Ant Group Co., Ltd. and Alibaba Group Holding Limited to recognize Hong Kong's status as an international business hub and global financial center. They also highlighted Hong Kong's rising role in the development of innovative technologies.

Alibaba Group Holding Limited operates its activities across seven main segments while managing technology infrastructure and marketing platforms: China Commerce, International Commerce, Local Consumer Services, Cainiao, Cloud, Digital Media and Entertainment, and Innovation Initiatives and Others.
