Disaster Reconstruction Fund is Reviving the Earthquake Area.

The latest announcement from the Ministry of Treasury and Finance reveals that the Disaster Reconstruction Fund has come into operation. Established following the major earthquakes last year, this fund is designed to address the destruction caused by natural disasters and accelerate the reconstruction of the region.

The fund, which aims to effectively allocate resources to post-disaster projects, has been strengthened by diversifying financing obtained from abroad. With the completion of its institutional infrastructure, the fund aims to play a significant role in providing the necessary financial support.

Agreements have been signed for the first loan provided through the Disaster Reconstruction Fund. These agreements include 485 million Euro of favorable condition financing that will be used for projects in the earthquake-affected areas. This significant financing was carried out under the leadership of Abu Dhabi Commercial Bank, with contributions from Doğan Investment Bank. This collaboration will create a vital resource for housing construction projects in the region.

The financing provided by the fund will be used specifically to support the construction of safe and permanent housing in areas affected by the earthquakes. This process will contribute to the reconstruction of the local population and accelerate the economic development of the region.
