Advantech is pushing boundaries with new Edge AI solutions.

TAIPEI, October 22, 2025 — Advantech (TWSE: 2395), a global leader in edge computing, has introduced a new series of application-specific Edge AI solutions powered by NVIDIA Jetson Thor modules. The NVIDIA Jetson Thor series sets a new standard for edge AI by delivering up to 2070 FP4 TFLOPS of AI performance and significant improvements in CPU performance and energy efficiency. Advantech brings this power to real-world applications, offering hardware-software integrated solutions for robotics, medical AI, and data AI.

Each solution is equipped with dedicated hardware platforms pre-integrated with JetPack 7.0, remote management tools, and vertical software packages such as Robotic Suite and GenAI Studio. Thanks to its container-based architecture, these solutions provide greater flexibility and faster development cycles. Additionally, Advantech collaborates closely with ecosystem partners on key technologies such as sensor and camera integration and thermal design.

Control Devices for Robotics

The ASR-A702 and AFE-A702 are control devices specifically designed for humanoid robots, Autonomous Mobile Robots (AMR), and unmanned vehicles. These devices enable real-time AI reasoning and inference using multi-camera GMSL, 2D/3D sensors, and IMUs with GPU-accelerated SLAM. Along with the Robotic Suite for plug-and-play development, tools such as Isaac ROS/Sim and Holoscan facilitate real-time detection and ultra-low latency data streams. Key features include hardware time synchronization, ESD protection, vibration-resistant design, and OTA updates.

Medical AI Systems

Leveraging the NVIDIA Jetson Thor and advanced software development kits like Holoscan and MONAI, Advantech is developing next-generation Medical AI boards AIMB-294 and the system EPC-T5294. These platforms provide low latency and high precision focused on surgical robotics through real-time sensor processing, image analysis & fluid AI pipeline, pre-trained models, and 3D image optimization, suitable for use in operating rooms, clinical workflows, and smart diagnostic tools.

Data AI Systems

The AIR-075 offers powerful computing to meet data AI demands in traffic and factory applications with 4× 10GbE and GMSL interfaces. When combined with NVIDIA AI, NVIDIA Metropolis, NVIDIA Triton, NVIDIA Cosmos Reason, and Advantech Edge AI SDK & DeviceOn, it delivers real-time predictive edge intelligence with sensor fusion, multi-model inference, visual AI agents, and centralized management.

Advantech Container Catalog

The Advantech Container Catalog (ACC) offers a set of ready-to-deploy edge AI applications optimized for AI agent integration on NVIDIA Jetson platforms, including end-to-end computer vision and Edge LLM environments. It also includes domain-specific solutions from ecosystem partners. This containerized architecture, fully compliant with WEDA (WISE-Edge Developer Architecture), allows for scalable edge AI expansion from single-node installations to distributed edge networks.
