Revenues and Expenditures

In September, the government's total revenues reached 544 billion dollars, an increase of 3 percent compared to the same month last year. On the other hand, expenditures decreased by 23 percent to 346 billion dollars.

Record Customs Duties in Fiscal Year 2025

The total budget deficit of the US federal government in the 2025 fiscal year is estimated at 1 trillion 775 billion dollars. The deficit in the previous fiscal year was 1 trillion 817 billion dollars, indicating a 2 percent decrease in the budget deficit.

Tax Revenues Increased by 6%

The revenues of the US federal government in the 2025 fiscal year increased by 6 percent compared to the previous year, reaching 5 trillion 235 billion dollars, while expenditures rose by 4 percent to 7 trillion 10 billion dollars.

Historic Increase in Customs Duty Revenues

In the 2025 fiscal year, revenues from customs duties increased by 153 percent to 195 billion dollars. This record level played a significant role in the reduction of the budget deficit.
