The U.S. Department of Commerce has given the green light for the export of advanced semiconductors to G42, based in the United Arab Emirates (UAE), and Humain, based in Saudi Arabia.
According to the Department's announcement, both companies have received approval for up to 35,000 units of Nvidia's Blackwell chip. However, these approvals are contingent upon the companies meeting strict security and reporting requirements.
The announcement also noted that these approvals came following AI agreements between the U.S., the UAE, and Saudi Arabia. These developments will reinforce the U.S.'s ongoing dominance in artificial intelligence and support its global technological leadership.
The U.S. Department of Commerce announced that it will continue to support the export of American artificial intelligence technologies to Saudi Arabia, UAE, and other allied and partner countries around the world.
