As the inflation data for October is announced, the Revaluation Rate applicable for the year 2025 will also be determined. This rate will lead to the reorganization of taxes, fees, and charges paid for state services. Increases in various items such as identity card, passport, and driver’s license fees will directly affect citizens.
The Revaluation Rate is calculated based on the Producer Price Index (PPI) by looking at the average values of the last 12 months. The President has the authority to increase or decrease this rate. The rate, which was set at 43.93% last year, is expected to be in the range of 22-24% this year.
With the new regulation, the fees for official documents such as identity cards, passports, and driver’s licenses will be updated. Additionally, various public services such as the exit fee for traveling abroad and meal and transportation allowances provided to employees will also be determined with new prices. These regulations will come into effect on January 1, 2026.
