


According to the second forecasts for 2025, a significant decrease in plant production quantities is expected compared to the previous year. Among field products, a decline of 10.4% is anticipated in grains and other plant products, 0.8% in vegetables, and 30.4% in fruits, beverage, and spice plants.
In this context, approximately 67.1 million tons of grains and other plant products, 33.3 million tons of vegetables, and 19.8 million tons of fruits and spice plants are forecasted.
A decline of 12.4% in grain products is expected in 2025, with the quantity anticipated to drop to 34.2 million tons.
A decrease of 13.9% in wheat production, 25.9% in barley production, 20.9% in rye production, and 22.3% in oat production is expected this year. However, corn production is expected to increase by 4.9%, reaching 8.5 million tons.
In 2025, the total vegetable production is estimated to decline by 0.8%, reaching 33.3 million tons.
While some products, such as watermelon, dry onion, and melon, are expected to see increases, production of vegetables like tomatoes, capia peppers, and green beans will decline.
A decline of 30.4% in the production of fruits, beverages, and spice plants is anticipated, with the total quantity expected to be 19.8 million tons.
Significant decreases are predicted, particularly in apples, strawberries, peaches, cherries, and grapes. For instance, a decline of 70.6% in cherry production and 48.3% in apple production is expected.
