Commemorating Great Leader Atatürk

The founder of the Republic of Turkey, Gazi Mustafa Kemal Atatürk, will be commemorated on the 87th anniversary of his passing with various ceremonies and events across the country, in the Turkish Republic of Northern Cyprus (TRNC) and at foreign representative offices.

CHP Chairman Özgür Özel will attend the commemoration ceremony, while also participating in the funeral of 27th Term Istanbul Parliament Member Turan Aydoğan's mother, Ayşe Aydoğan.
