During periods of high inflation, employees who feel they are not receiving adequate salary increases are looking for ways to boost their income by changing jobs. According to recent research conducted by Kariyer.net, the percentage of employees looking for new jobs at the beginning of the year was around 60 percent, and this rate has now increased by 12 percentage points to 72 percent.

Impact of Economic Conditions

Kariyer.net CEO Fatih Uysal states that the primary reason for this increase is economic conditions. According to Uysal, this situation will not be limited to this year alone. The lag of salary increases during high inflation periods is due to employers determining salaries based on economic data from January or February.
