Management Change at Walmart

NEW YORK (AP) — Walmart announced that CEO Doug McMillon will retire in January.

The company stated that John Furner, president of U.S. operations and a long-time member of the company, will be appointed as the new CEO.

McMillon's retirement will take place on January 31, 2026, and Furner will assume the CEO position the following day.
