TotalEnergies signed a 15-year power agreement with Google.

TotalEnergies announced on Wednesday that it has signed a 15-year power purchase agreement with Google. Under this agreement, 1.5 terawatt-hours of certified renewable electricity will be provided from the Montpelier solar power plant in Ohio.

As the Montpelier solar facility approaches completion, it will operate in connection with the PJM grid. In this case, the facility will play a significant role in providing energy support for Google's data center operations in Ohio.
