Koç Group organized the 33rd edition of its traditional Anadolu Meetings in Denizli with the participation of over 500 dealers. The opening speeches were made by Ömer M. Koç, Chairman of Koç Holding, and Levent Çakıroğlu, CEO of Koç Holding.
Ömer M. Koç stated that despite challenges, Koç Group has achieved significant successes together with its dealers. "Our total combined revenue exceeds 7% of the gross national product. Our companies account for more than 7% of the country’s exports. The contribution of group companies to the state’s tax revenues is around 8 percent," he said. Koç, which includes leading companies such as Tüpraş, Arçelik, and Ford Otosan among the top 10 companies in Turkey, also expressed that it represents 17% of the market value of publicly traded companies on Borsa Istanbul.
In his speech, Koç also referred to the uncertainties worldwide, stating, "The uncertainties that have persisted for a long time indicate that the order established after the Second World War has largely changed. Unfortunately, the prevalence of brute force over consultation in international relations is creating a new world order."
Emphasizing that Koç Group will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2026, Ömer M. Koç said, "We have existed and grown alongside the Republic. In our second century, we will continue to progress together with our dealers."
Levent Çakıroğlu, CEO of Koç Holding, stated, "We must accept that global uncertainties are our new reality. However, we continue our investments with confidence in our country. The total combined investment we made in the first 9 months of this year was 2.6 billion dollars." He underlined that they operate in 61 countries with over 130 production and sales companies and emphasized that they will continue to reach customers with the opportunities provided by technology.
