


Koç Holding has received approval from the Competition Authority following its success in the Fenerbahçe-Kalamış Marina tender. According to the statement made in the Public Disclosure Platform (KAP), Koç Holding has obtained the necessary permission for the transaction by ensuring compliance with competitive conditions.
The statement indicated that the approval of the Competition Authority was obtained for the acquisition transactions conducted through Tek-Art Kalamış and Fenerbahçe Marmara Tourism Facilities Inc. (Tek-Art). Accordingly, the purchase of 50% shares of the relevant companies in the context of the Share Purchase and Sale Agreement with Yıldız Holding Inc. and Sağlam İnşaat has been approved.
The Fenerbahçe-Kalamış Marina tender was re-organized on July 16, 2024 after the cancellation of the tender won by Koç Holding in 2021. In the tender, the highest bid was made by Vahit Karaaslan with 505 million dollars, but he decided not to sign the contract. Koç Holding won the tender with a bid of 504 million dollars, making it the second-best offer.
