


Hürriyet Gazetecilik has decided to suspend printing operations in Ankara in line with its long-term strategic plans, aiming to optimize resource usage and increase overall efficiency. The company shared the details of this decision with the public via the Public Disclosure Platform.
The Hürriyet DPC Branch located in Pursaklar, Ankara will be closed effective December 15, 2025. The company management has set the effective date of this decision as November 13, 2025. Therefore, 59 employees will have their contracts terminated.
In conjunction with the closure, it has been reported that the total severance and notice pay to be paid to the terminated employees will amount to 37 million 222 thousand 370 TL. This amount aims to fulfill the company's social obligations to its employees.
Hürriyet Gazetecilik emphasized that the decision to suspend printing operations in Ankara would not affect the company's total printing capacity and sales. The company plans to examine outsourced printing opportunities during this process. This strategy is viewed as a significant step to ensure sustainability in Hürriyet's printing activities and to reduce costs.
In the official statement made by Hürriyet Gazetecilik, it was noted; "In line with our company's long-term business plans, a decision has been made to close the Ankara DPC Branch effective December 15, 2025, with the aim of utilizing resources more efficiently and increasing productivity."
