HP Turkey General Manager Serdar Urçar announced that they expect a 8% decline in the personal computer market and a 20% increase in the printer market by the end of 2023.
Urçar, the leader of HP Turkey, evaluated the state of the consumer electronics market in an interview on BloombergHT's Agenda Technology program. He stated, “The personal computer market is expected to see a 8% contraction. We will also exhibit a trend parallel to the market.” On the other hand, while the printing device market in Turkey is growing by 20%, he noted that HP Turkey has recorded a growth three times above the average.
Serdar Urçar also shared his expectations for 2026: “I foresee a slow recovery next year. We expect a faster recovery by the middle of 2026. However, chip supply shortages may affect computer prices.”
According to the results of the HP Global Business Relations Index, only 29% of employees are satisfied with their jobs in Turkey. Artificial intelligence emerges as an important factor affecting management and satisfaction. Urçar stated, “40% of managers and employees actively use artificial intelligence.”
The General Manager of HP Turkey announced that they expect a 30% increase in sales with meticulous campaigns during the special days in November and December. He expressed, “As the retail sector, we have turned Black Friday into Legendary November.”
